The pricing of hoarding signage will vary from project to project, depending on the size, complexity and materials chosen for the project.

To able to provide a quote for your hoarding, we’ll need to understand:

  • The approximate length of your hoarding perimeter and a plan of any access points
  • How long the hoarding will need to be in place, so we can determine the most cost-effective material to use
  • Whether you need help with the hoarding design or if you plan to work with a design agency

We may also need to complete a site survey to review and measure your project. Once we’ve gathered all the information, we’ll be able to provide a quotation for your work.

What are the construction site hoarding regulations

There are a number of different site hoarding regulations that you’ll need to be aware of, but these will be determined by the nature of construction project and what’s involved.

The regulations are in place to shield the view from the public and prevent unauthorised access, theft, destruction and vandalism.

Some of the things to be aware of are:

  • Most building sites will need at least a 2 metre high fence or building hoarding around the perimeter of the construction site.
  • The height of the fence may need to be higher in a city centre sites or places where children may attempt to enter.
  • Fencing and hoarding must be regularly inspected for necessary maintenance to ensure the ongoing safety of the public.

You can find out more about the regulations for hoardings in The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 as well as the The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
